  1.                         MISCELLANEOUS COMMANDS

  3. <MATCH  BRACE>  (the CTRL B key) will find a corresponding curly brace
  4. or parenthesis. If the cursor is on a  left  curly  brace  or  a  left
  5. parenthesis,  then  the editor will search forward for a corresponding
  6. right brace or right paren. If the cursor is on a  right  brace  or  a
  7. right paren, then the editor will search backwards for the correspond-
  8. ing  left  brace or left paren. If the match is found, then the cursor
  9. is placed on the matched character. If no match  is  found,  an  error
  10. message will be given.

  12. <VERSION> (the ALT V key) prints the current version of ME.
  13.  
  14. <REDRAW SCREEN> (ALT R key) clears the screen and draws a new copy  of
  15. the  text  on the screen. This is useful if you are not sure of what's
  16. on the screen, or if funny characters appear on  your  screen  due  to
  17. noise on communication lines. 
  18.  
  19. <TOGGLE  EGA>  (the  CTRL E key) will toggle you in and out of 43 line
  20. mode if you have an Enhanced Graphics Adapter, 
  21.  
  22. <SET  TABS>  (the ALT T key) allows to to change the tab settings. You
  23. are prompted for a list of tab settings. Type  a  series  of  numbers,
  24. each separated by a blank.

  26. <OPERATING SYSTEM> (ALT X key) allows you to execute an operating sys-
  27. tem command from within the word processor. Type the command, followed
  28. by  <RETURN>,  and  the command will be executed. After the command is
  29. finished, you will be brought back to your editing screen. In DOS, you
  30. can invoke a secondary command processor by typing "command". You will
  31. then "leave" the word processor, and you can interact with  DOS.  When
  32. you  want  to  return  to  the  editing  session, type the DOS command
  33. "exit".

  35. <HELP> (the ALT H key) displays help information on the screen.
